Green's Windmill Park

Description

Green's Windmill was built in 1807, and now offers also a relaxed spot in the surrounding park.

This flour windmill, since its construction, was abandoned, on fire, and restored in 1979. Originally owned and built by George Green, now run by Nottingham City Council, it is in operation and open for visits. You can see how was flour originally made from grains in this amazing building. There is also an adjoined science centre open for visit as well!

Surrounding park is really nice and calm with niche spots. There is also a children's playground as well.
